Even so, the muscular and powerful muscles that have become the brand of the CB1000R are still very clear. One of the biggest changes in the design comes from the round headlight bulb instead of the shield type on the older version. The front tire still uses a 120/70 tire but the rear wheel is upgraded to 190/55 to optimize traction. The steering wheel increases the width and height by 1.3 cm, which helps the rider to sit more comfortable. With this change, Honda wants to emphasize on the ability to operate comfortably, which is suitable for running everyday instead of sitting on the sport as before.
The rear aluminum frame and steel trim was also improved by Honda, in which the steel frame was 2.5 kg lower than its predecessor. The single fell 1.3 cm in length and the base shaft increased by 1.3 cm, reaching 145.5 cm. In addition, the CB1000R 2018 has been added to Showa Separate Function Fork - Big Piston Shock and Showa Balance Free Rear Cushion. Both promise a better experience and can adjust the damping level according to operating conditions.
