Coffee with the Dean: Our Clean Water Initiatives
An estimated 4.2 billion people lack safe sanitation options. Water scarcity has the potential to displace 700 million people by 2030. For communities from Flint, Michigan to Cape Town, South Africa, a lack of properly managed water resources creates a myriad of challenges to the long-term health of the planet and its people. Dean Farshad Fotouhi and his guests discuss how the Wayne State University College of Engineering is responding to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal of clean water and sanitation, both globally and here at home.
