Police Robot Makes Traffic Stops Safe For Everyone

The cop bot is attached to a telescopic robotic arm that can extend from the side of the cop car to reach the window of the pulled over vehicle in front of it. The officer is then able to communicate with the driver via a webcam.
Designed to make traffic stops safer, the prototype allows police officers to interact with a driver from their car. It even deploys spikes to prevent the driver from speeding away.
The video shows that the robot is operated from inside the police car, and is equipped with a camera, and a printer that dispenses the traffic ticket.
