About our guest Darrell Thompson:
Darrell Thompson is the co-founder of music app Deepr (deeprmusic.com) - He began his career as an entertainment attorney in Los Angeles, working as Director of Business and Legal Affairs at Motown Records under Jheryl Busby and Clarence Avant. Current and former clients include Jay Z, The Black Eyed Peas, En Vogue, The Isley Brothers, Mary Mary, The Clark Sisters, Eric Bellinger, Andy Mineo, Layton Greene, and a host of music producers and writers who have worked with A-list artists such as Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Usher, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige and Christina Aguilera.
Mr. Thompson has also negotiated deals for more than 50 motion pictures, from the early 1990s film “Juice” starring Tupac Shakur, to “Men In Black III” starring Will Smith, and “Ocean’s 8” starring Sandra Bullock.
