Many years ago, a girl named Aspid was about to be married, and she decided to run away. She fled into a black field where the evil spirit Vaitalai dwelled, and everyone feared him. But Vaitalai drove Aspid away. The girl Aspid went to the house of an old witch. The old witch cast a curse of eternal youth on Aspid. Forty years passed, but Aspid hadn't changed or aged at all.
