While going through a tough season, Bob received a word about how much the Father loves us. At times we may feel as if God is not as good a dad as we are because we would not stand back and let our children suffer. The truth is that God is “Infinite Father,” so He sees our tomorrow. We finite beings see only our today. Father loves us too much to answer our prayers based on our today because He sees our tomorrow. If Father were to answer our immediate prayers, it could change the course of our future, but not necessarily for our benefit or good. Since He is always working for our good, sometimes He delays our answer.
