Creating Painting Panels Part 2: Gluing the frame
So, finally made it to step two in our journey through making some panels for encaustic painting. At this stage, all the wood for the frame and top is cut and we are moving on to putting it together! I use wood glue, corner clamps and occasionally some brad nails to keep the frame together before the glue dries. After all 4 sides of the frames are done, next comes attaching the panel face and priming!
