Son Of The Sea - Magasin du Café [Official Video]
#shardana #sardegna #sardinia
"A battle poetics introduces the journey of the Shardana warriors towards Egypt. The parallel is between the storm and their sword: both lead the ships to a new land, furious and piercing.
The pharaoh, Ramses II, may also be the son of the Sun, like a divinity, but the warrior has Tradition on his side, education to battle and the indomitable spirit."
// It is the opening track of the album, the manifesto of a whole imaginary still unexplored in music and cinema: that of prehistoric wars, of megalithic civilizations, all connected to each other in a surprising way for traditions and aesthetics. The first step of a journey of conquest and knowledge of oneself and one's origins. //
Directed by Nicolò Fumero.
[Recorded in march 2022]
Special Thanks to Sara Cesano for the partecipation and collaboration.
