What to do in Eastern Serbia? What to expect there? Only 55 km from Zaječar, you will find picturesque villages and hidden attraction of Rajačke and Rogljevske pimnice. Rajac and Rogljevo wine cellars, created in the middle of the 18th century and to the 1930s, are partially buried in the ground so that the temperature varies very little during the year. On the first floor you can also find rooms for living at the time of harvesting and cultivating wine. At the top of the Rajac Hill, there is an old village cemetery with unusual and beautiful tombstones from the 19th century, which represent real works of art with great historical value and attraction for tourists. You may also reach the villages by bicycle, taking the D-Tour along the international EuroVelo 6 Danube Cycling Route.
