Pioneer of the fantasy-adventure genre, Richard Donner has passed away. He leaves a cinematic legacy that includes Superman, Lethal Weapon, The Goonies and The Omen. His TV credits include Route 66, The Rifleman, The Twilight Zone, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Gilligan’s Island, Perry Mason and The Wild Wild West. He was 91.
He will be remembered for the quality of his films some of which are now recognized as immortal classics in their own genres. He was 91. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Another addition to the tragic deaths of 2021.
