Fully recyclable ICM lightweight yoghurt cup
The Swiss dairy @EmmiTubes fills various products such as yogurt or skyr in 200 g cups, which are manufactured using the conventional injection molding process. When evaluating more cost-effective and sustainable alternatives, a cup produced using the Injection Compression Molding (ICM) process came into play. Our fully recyclable solution also offers numerous advantages in direct comparison with a thermoformed cup with a cardboard sleeve. This ICM application was realized in cooperation with @glaroform1111 @beckautomation4921 and other system partners and presented as a running application at @fakuma-messe7401.
