REVENGE [Original Animation Meme]
After starting this project back in November of 2018 and after redoing it from scratch 3 times in total I am finally back! Feel free to read the rest of the description to find out more about where I’ve been, what I’ve been up to and what I’m planning on doing next!
EDIT: Also quick notice, I spelled the music artist's name wrong in the video, how embarrassing. It's Wildstylez, not WildEstylez, but yet again I was super close to misspelling my own username as well before fixing it.
Hello guys! Gosh I’m so glad to be back on Youtube after 3.5 long years! So why was I gone for so long? I went to uni, that’s pretty much what it boils down to. University took up all of my time and energy to the point that working on personal project was pretty much impossible. The only times when I’d have time to focus back on my work was during the breaks (2 per year in total, winter and summer) but that only set me back further and further, because I’d look at my progress from where I left it half and year before and I would think ‘Hey, I don’t like how this looks, I’ll just redo it’. Not only that but I’d also feel pretty burnt out after finishing up my uni terms. This is why this animation that is no more than 1 minute in length took so long, I redid the entire thing 3 times in total.
Not only that but I bit off way more than I can chew. I wanted to make another original animation meme that would be the successor of Cherry Pop, thinking it was gonna be a piece of cake. I was proven wrong quite quickly however. I won’t lie I was so close to giving up so many times but it felt like everything would’ve been a waste if I just left it behind. So I pushed trough. I realized that this meme idea of mine is quite complicated sadly, but I simply wanted to do a meme that resembled a fighting game (since other game genres were turned into memes at that point). I’ve been out of the loop for soooo long I have no clue what the memes of today are at all. I’m sure a fighting game meme exists somewhere but having this meme finished has more meaning to me than to just have it grow as a trend or anything like that. By any means if anyone out there is adventurous to try it out I’d love to see what kind of cool combos you’d come up with for the fighting part!
What am I up to now? Well after uni I got a job in the animation industry! As busy as I am now I have a lot more free time than I did in university. I have 2 more original animation meme ideas that I’ve been planning over the past several years that luckily will be much more simple for my own sake!
I’ve also been doing remixes and composing music!! Gosh I can’t wait to make the music videos to release some of my tracks!! A while ago I started making a 2000s meme remix that I posted about on twitter (go follow me there btw!! @invisiblepies) and I finished it only a week after I started it, but I felt like it would be very out of place to upload it on my channel after being gone for so long with no context. But now I can sit down and make a nice video for that as well!!
Overall I’m filled with so much hope now that this animation is finally out that I can move onto all of the stuff that I’ve wanted to do for so long! I’d love to start uploading a lot more frequently!
