Sharks
Since today is my mom's birthday and she loves sharks, here is a little song that explains how I feel about them. 😂

Step into the water
And suddenly it’s harder
To breath
Every shadow seems to be
Unrealistically threatening
Something brushes past my legs
I fight back a scream
Look down
It’s just a fish
Swimming innocently
Not a shark
This time
Though they kill less people than coconuts or vending machines
They are exponentially more terrifying
Now I’ve heard it said, Not all sharks are bad
What about Bruce from Nemo?
Listen, He says fish are friends, not food but he never mentioned
the people....?!
And deep down I know it’s not rational to be
So close-hearted
to anything
Snow leopards, lions, manatees
Panda bears and honey bees
I’m all for save the turtles
I drink out of metal straws
But bring back the dodo birds
And take the ones with two movable jaws
