FFF India First Anniversary
With just a few coordinators around the country, #FridaysForFuture India successfully organised its first major strike on this very day just a year ago. The scale at which this movement is multiplying and educating more and more individuals is beyond a doubt unfathomable. With strong passions, set minds, and clear goals; we have indeed achieved a lot in a year, but this was just the beginning...
As the days pass with the people in power still in denial, we have new regional and local chapters forming, thus spreading the consequences of climate inaction even more. We will continue to organise stronger strikes, larger strikes, and even more resistant strikes, because we know striking works.
So call your friends, your siblings, your parents, your teachers, because we aren't here to play; we will continue fighting till our government takes the necessary measures to ensure this generation a habitable future. We will win this battle not because of our morals or our motives, but because of our unity and our persistence. Believe in science, believe in yourself; because change is coming whether you like it or not.
