Mercedes 200E C124 COUPE / The Last Real Mercedes
We spent a nostalgic day reviewing the 1993 Mercedes 200 E, the C124 chassis, the coupe version of the legendary Mercedes W124, a favorite of everyone who grew up in the '90s. Even the technologies of that era were incredible in terms of comfort, and thanks to the subtle touches on the car, the 200E has become one of the legendary Mercedes chassis, both the Coupe and the 124.
As for the engine, the facelifted body has a square-shaped engine, marketed as M111. This engine isn't particularly lively; 136 hp and 190 torque are unfortunately a bit weak for a heavy chassis, but since it's a 2000 hp engine, it ensures a pleasant drive on smooth roads once you're underway. The fully automatic transmission, by its nature, performs well.
