This is my review of the Gibson Sg Standard. It's a nice guitar...well made...nicely finished and with good hardware...
A few drawbacks may include: 1) a super fat 50s neck...which i love even though i have the smallest hands in the world...2) the pickups are plain..shit..they are better than a chinese set of humbucker pickups..but just mere upgrade to that..they get very muddy and just seem to lack clarity...something like a cheaply made proper PAF copy like the classic 57'..
other than that..its very nice..a bit neck heavy but the whole thing is as light as a feather...
