The Utah Archers have taken home the 2024 PLL championship going back to back. This team had a lot of questions going into the postseason at 4-4. Their defense is extremely young and had some issues at the beginning of the year. Regardless, they were able to pull through in the playoffs and prove to have one of the best defenses holding the Chaos in the semi-finals to only one goal which is the lowest in PLL history. When talking about the Archers its impossible to not mention Brett Dobson who took home the championship MVP, his save rate in the postseason was a ridiculous 83% tallying 18 saves in the championship game. You pair that with Okeefe and Fields down low and you are talking about the best team in the league. One of the best moves this team made was to move Ament to the midfield. This allowed him to dodge against short sticks and activate in invert situations. Today I will break down some key plays in the Archers win against the Whipsnakes.
