Architecture: Raus - A Cabin Designed by Sigurd Larsen
If you love architecture then I'm sure you are well aware of the tiny home trend, these little places make for something that can feel very quaint and idyllic, this cabin designed by Sigurd Larsen does exactly that, it feels quaint, idyllic and cosy whilst still feeling first-class in regards to build quality and styling.
Sigurd has picked a location that is quiet, relaxing and tucked away so that when you are taking the time to kick back you can do so whilst listening to the birds tweeting and surrounded by nature, the cabin blends in perfectly and feels as though it sits naturally in its surrounding.
The colour from the black cladding follows through from the exterior into the interior where it feels minimal in design, yet well put together, the kitchen finished in the same colour with a nice large window finishes off the space to give a clean, crisp feel which draws the eye to the picturesque surroundings. The bedroom is cosy and again the large window/doors make you want to open up the space, let in a nice spring breeze and take in the living world.
When in this quaint, little cabin it really does feel like a beautiful place to spend a relaxing weekend away, it should inspire others to create, to focus design on what surrounds the property you are working on, so that everything feels seamless and as though it is meant to be. Nature is beautiful and special enough to lead design so design around nature to let the living world do the talking.
