Emerging Technology is a prime agenda for agencies today. Introducing new technologies is important, but for an agency to use them effectively, the workforce must evolve with the tech. Closing the gap between technology skills needed for mission success and those available is one of the most important challenges government agencies face. The need for reskilling is foundational within the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework. The Department of Defense must now identify and track civilian workforce skill sets and match them to appropriate jobs.
