Preparing Gofun (white) for Nihonga【日本画】胡粉の溶き方
In this video, Japanese artist Kiyo Hasegawa demonstrates how to prepare Gofun (white shell powder) for Nihonga, Japanese style painting.
*NOTE
The amount of gofun made in this video is enough to prime one to two 2㎡ paintings.
If you are working on a small painting, try making a gofun ball about one-third of this amount.
