Some news is good some news is bad and the opinion of the U.S.'s economic position is up to you.
There has been an enormous amount of terrible news coming out and much is quite distressing although there is data that suggests consumers are making smarter decisions, pulling back spending and aiding in the regression of inflation.
Although this is likely not voluntary for most and could mean people are feeling quite a bit of pain.
The Federal Reserve much ride the fine line of putting consumers through enough pain to slow inflation but not to much to stunt economic growth long into the future.
