How much time do you waste yelling at yourself or your kids during a normal homeschool day for being behind or not getting enough done?
This isn’t a condemnation, most people do this completely unintentionally. And then, unintentionally, beat themselves up further for having had a bad homeschool day and it becomes a vicious cycle and leads to getting stuck. And, unfortunately, during this time of year, it leads to sour memories and unhappy holidays.
Which is why I want to spend time now, before we go into the holiday season, shedding some light as to why you do these things and a few simple steps to follow, so you can start getting a handle on it sooner.
Because learning how to be intentional now is what will allow you to begin practicing it before things get busy.
Which means you’ll already have the foundational skills laid, so you can truly enjoy yourself, your family, and your homeschooling all the way through Christmas.
And that is the secret sauce to begin the next semester in January peacefully and intentionally, instead of feeling exhausted, discouraged, and drained.
