HOME SECURITY SYSTEM USING ARDUINO | CODE&CIRCUIT | BY USING GSM
When the system is powered ON, the Arduino continuously monitors the PIR sensor while showing *“System Ready”* on the LCD; under normal conditions no motion is detected, so the LED (used as a buzzer indicator) remains OFF, but when a human movement is detected the PIR sensor output goes HIGH, prompting the Arduino to immediately turn ON the LED as an alert, display *“Motion Detected”* on the LCD, and activate the GSM module to send an *SMS alert* to the stored mobile number indicating a possible intrusion, and to avoid repeated messages the system sends only one SMS for each motion event, after which once the motion stops and the PIR output returns LOW, the LED turns OFF, the LCD updates to **“No Motion”**, and the system automatically resets itself to monitor for the next intrusion.
