A little hint about the average value:
A median is the "better" average. The statistical average has a big shortcoming. As soon as there are a few, but strong outliers in the data, the statistical average pulls the value very strongly upwards. This is where the median comes into play.
The median divides the quantity into two halves. Left half: no value is greater than the median - Right half: no value is less than the median
This means that the median value does not change for a few outliers and calculates the mean value of the remaining values more "correctly" than the mean.
