** ABOUT GUTHRIE TRAPP **
Guthrie Trapp is a generational talent on the guitar, and as such has developed a sterling reputation on the Nashville music scene and internationally as both a performing and session musician as well as a world class educator.
Trapp is a brilliant "seat of the pants" player who executes soulful high energy melodic solos in his genre bending Nashville based trio featuring Tim Marks on Fender bass and Jordan Perlson on drums and cymbals.
Guthrie has worked with such icons as, Billy Gibbons, John Oates, Vice Gill, Garth Brooks, Jerry Douglas, Delbert McClinton, Hank Williams, Jr., Steve Cropper, Rodney Crowell, George Jones and Alison Krauss to name just a few.
He is also a founder of the East Nashville Guitar Club along with partner, Jack Ruch. This organization is open to everyone and hosts regular jam sessions, clinics and other popular events for the guitar community worldwide.
Trapp continues to compose and record new music and simply enjoy life in his East Nashville neighborhood.
