A wholesome moment with my Grandma repotting a Philodendron Birkin 👵🏻🪴
Every time I visit home in Malaysia, I would spend time with Grandma tending the plants at home and exchanging our plant knowledge from the East and West with each other. 🥰
So here are grandmas top tips on repotting plants 🌿:
Wiggle out the plant gently
Massage the roots at the bottom until they loosen
Remove the old potting mix and replace with new soil
Trim any dead leaves or roots
Select a pot that’s 1 to 2 inches larger than the existing one
Pat down the soil to remove any air pockets
Water throughly and watch it grow!
