1. The black box is challenging to read because its QR code is small, and the black background leads to a low PCS value in the scanner image (meaning the contrast between the barcode and the background is very close, like an image with a dark gray barcode on a black background, resulting in reduced readability).
2. On the other hand, the white background is relatively easier to read.
However, there is another box that is not easy to read due to its smaller size and higher resolution (similar to writing small text, making it slower for the eyes to recognize).
3. the magenta-colored box cannot be read at all due to two reasons: first, the red color appears as black to the black-and-white CMOS sensor, and its slight transparency makes recognition more challenging. Second, the grids on both sides partially obstruct the barcode
