Face Drop: An iOS AR prototype
Face Drop is a prototype augmented reality app for iOS that explores a fun take on selfies.
With Face Drop, rather than capturing images, the shutter button instead places a 3D model of your face in the world using augmented reality. The app also features a few alternative capture modes:
Drop — The face drops to the ground after a few seconds. This uses LiDAR data to make the face physically interact with real world surfaces.
Toss — Launch your face out at scenery. Again the face will bounce off of real world surfaces if your phone has a LiDAR sensor
