This episode was recorded shortly after a group of University Presidents, including Claudine Gay of Harvard, sat before congress stating that calls for genocide were not counter to their Code of Conduct Policies at their Universities. Shortly after the recording, news broke that Claudine Gay had been accused of Plagiarism on several papers she authored, including her Dissertation. According to the New York Post, Harvard covered up the investigation and threatened the news organization over their own investigation. On Dec 12, Harvard said that their investigation was closed, there was no plagiarism, just that they had requested her to add citations that had originally been "omitted" in her previous work.
