I'm sorry for being late with this video...I'm just too busy this year so I couldn't start earlier like I did last year x_x but happy belated birthday again Mari!!!
So this year I was kinda dreading about starting late on both amvs (Ame's and yours). And even more so when I was picking out a song to edit for your birthday. You have no idea how many songs I have downloaded and have them cut in my folder but none of them is giving me the inspo sadly. And then after spamming some songs with Ame, this one came out as the winner. :D
This song is so beautiful and I can see why u love it ahaha.... and this time instead of full on JC angst I'm going with a mix of your fav series. Did I at least surprise u with some Maquia edit in there? hehe....at first I wanted to put Maquia as the thumbnail but I wanted this to be a little surprise so I went with Kyoru instead. XD Also at the front part for MDZS, I wanted to go full on yunmeng bro (MDZS version) at first, but then the scenes just ain't coming to me and I wanted to use the part where they were reconciling at the temple for the lyrics with "regret and hoping there would be a moment again" (if only they did tat in the donghua then I could spam it but nope) so I just added the untamed version of them reconciling. XD But overall I try to not make an angsty video for u this year ahaha...so at least bittersweet maybe.
And now for personal message:
I'm glad tat we could be friends for another year now wow...!! And I really enjoy the time whenever we are able to talk to each other on late nights (not us having a bad sleeping schedule XD) But I know u're pretty busy lately and I hope u're able to rest still in between your assignments. And I still owe u a reply in discord aaaaaa. But I'll get to tat soon. On another note, still pretty excited u get to meet the others soon too. Gosh I wish I could be there so we could have fun together as well but I'm sure tat day will come and we will have so many long walks and have some great food together haha. Anyway I know it has been a while since your actual birthday but I hope u already had a good one (especially with tat beautiful looking tart cake ahaha) and I'm truly grateful to have u as my friend :D
