Plasma Membrane/Cell Membrane Structure
Cell membranes are composed of lipoproteins, a combination of lipids and proteins. The lipids that make up cell membranes include sterols, glycolipids, and, of course, the phospholipid bilayer. The proteins that make up cell membranes include peripheral proteins and integral proteins.
