Polyend Tracker Jazz Demo
Took a bit of a detour from the usual drum bass stuff I make. I wanted to channel a bit of a Bukem "Journey Inwards" type vibe but eventually it evolved into more of an experimental jazz demo.
I initially started this project in Maschine but thought it would make for an interesting exercise to have it sequenced in the Tracker. It was quite a challenge to get the swing and timing to work, so I settled on longer loops as opposed the normal approach I have to chopping up samples. Still a work in progress.
For anyone that's interested, drums and percussion are from Addictive Drums, upright bass from Integra-7, electronic pianos from Integra-7 and UVI Key Suite, brass from SWAM Trumpets.
