Lux aeterna (Everlasting light) is one of the chants from the Requiem Mass as well as on All Souls Day.
LUX AETERNA (Mode VIII)
Lux aeterna luceat eis, Domine,
cum sanctis in aeternum,
quia pius es.
Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine,
et lux perpetua luceat eis,
quia pius es.
(English Translation)
May everlasting light shine on them, Lord,
with Thy saints for ever,
for Thou art good.
Give them eternal rest, Lord,
and may perpetual light shine on them,
for Thou art good.
