I modeled some clothes in Marvelous Designer (using DAZ Genesis 8 base male as avatar) and then used DAZ 3D to skin them. The automatic skin is pretty good, but still needs some corrections. Here how I fixed a corrective morph, generating it in Marvelous Designer and importing it back in DAZ3D. I could fix it also in the way I've shown in this video ( • Fixing automatic DAZ skinning in Maya LT ), but this approach is much more powerful and general. In fact, the simulated morph in Marvelous is much more realistic with respect to sculpting and, most important, I only have to do it once for the base DAZ character and not for every custom character.
