Objectives:
• Get familiar with ChatGPT (openai.com)
• To learn how to analyze Twitter data with ChatGPT

Data:
• The Twitter data collected in previous labs

Steps:
1. Open MongoDB Compass, find the collected Tweets from the previous lab, and export the Twitter Text field only. You can query the tweets you are interested in before exporting. Make sure you have about 200 Tweets exported, and choose CSV as the output format.
2. Open the exported Twitter texts in Excel, delete the first row, and export the Tweets into a Text (Tab delimited) file.
3. If you don’t have Microsoft Edge installed, please download and install the latest Microsoft Edge from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge.
4. Create a free Microsoft account at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/welcome. Your JMU account may not work.
5. Open Microsoft Edge and Click the Discover button of Edge. You may need to sign in with your Microsoft account created in step 4.
6. Open the Notification and App settings and enable Page context
7. Drag the Tweets text file to the Edge browser and start a chat. ChatGPT powers the chat function.
8. You can select the tone in the chat and ask questions regarding the tweets, such as “Summarize this document.” The responses can vary, but hopefully, ChatGPT can recognize the document containing Tweets.
9. Be creative, and ask questions you are interested in those Tweets, such as:
9.1. What is the sentiment
9.2. The top 10 topics
9.3. Tell me more about …
9.4. Give me examples of tweets talking about …
