Channel Grim & Grin takes a second swing at editing the great and historically significant German Expressionist horror film 'Nosferatu, a Symphony of Horror'. This half-hour cut attempts to quicken the pacing, remove some of the scenes that haven't aged well (see over-acting and 'spooky' skeleton clock) and make the story more focused. All title cards have been removed, and instead this edit aims at telling the story through entirely visual means, with quick edits in place of dialogue. Several shots have been re-touched, re-cut, and reversed in attempts to tie them in better with the new cut. Since the previous version, uploaded in 2019, dozens of further edits have been made or swapped out, with additional footage inserted, including a restored version of the Count's castle. I have no doubt this won't be the final swing I take at this movie, but I hope you all enjoy.
