➡️The shadowing English technique where a learner listens to a fluent, native speaker, and then immediately repeats the phrase, is a proven method for fast results in English speaking fluency and accuracy of pronunciation. It is called 'shadowing' because the student follows closely behind the native speaker's voice, like a shadow.
Synchronized reading is where the learner reads at the same time as the native speaker. The volume needs to be loud so the teacher's voice is slightly above the learner. Shadowing or echo reading along with synchronized reading are very powerful methods. They complement each other perfectly. Used together, they improve an English student's fluency, pronunciation, listening skills, and help the student to come as close as possible to a native speaker in voice intonation and rhythm.
