1991 Diamondback Ascent Retro Mountain bike
Join me as we check out my 1991 Diamondback Ascent Retro Mountain Bike. This retro mountain bike is my first Mountain Bike and I still use it today as my main MTB. In this video I will show you the changes I have made to the components on this bike to make it more ridable. I have kept the original components which we will have a look at and then we will put this steel bike on the scales.
In 1991 (when I was younger 😃) I saw this bike in the shop window and it took some convincing for mum and dad to buy this bike. Today I still have it and is a bike I regularly use on the trail!
