👨🏫 About Me 🤓
Hello there! I'm an American who has spent more than a decade teaching English in Korea (and never leaving, hehe). During the pandemic, I stumbled upon the fascinating world of game development, and it swiftly evolved into my greatest passion. Exploring various game concepts, from farming sims to 3D Zelda-like adventures, I eventually discovered that crafting a Metroidvania is where my heart and skills match perfectly. For the past year, I've been immersed in the creation of YesterSol, pouring my creativity and dedication into this evolving project.

► I was inspired to make devlogs and games from these awesome YouTubers: Thomas Brush, Blackthornprod, Jonas Tyroller, Brackeys, gamesplusjames, BenBonk, Devduck, Dani, Gamedev Underground, Pontypants, and many more!
► Specs and Programs: I make games in Unity and do the art in Photoshop. Most of my sounds are from freesound.org and I tweak them in Audacity. In game music is all from a 500 song music pack I got on the unity asset store. I use a pretty standard desktop with and i7, 16gb ram, nividia gtx something. My wife or I edit videos in the free version of Davinci.
