Morrissey & band morph into New York Dolls.
I got sent this small clip recently that had been found on YouTube & that I had never seen & didn’t know it existed even. It was taken in São Paulo, Brazil in 2000, & is a photo shoot mock up of us posing as New York Dolls did for their classic album cover & done for a bit of fun in the dressing room before we went on to play. It sounds like guitarist Boz Boorer is doing the commentary on it.
The funny thing is 10 years after this, myself & bassist Gary Day did actually end up playing for NYD, so this footage is weirdly prophetic!! Funny to see after all these years.
