In this video we design a 3 phase LCL filter for a 100KVA inverter.
These are some of the references for the IEEE harmonic standard threshold
[1] IEEE Std. 446-1995 - IEEE Recommended Practices for Emergency and
Standby Power Systems for Industrial and Commercial Applications -
IEEE Industry Application Society.

[2] IEEE Std. 512-1992 - IEEE Recommended Practices and Requirements

[3] IEEE Std. P1547-2003 - IEEE Standard for Interconnecting Distributed
Resources with Electric Power Systems - IEEE Standards Coordinating
Committee 21.

To calculate for grid side inductance, 𝐿_1

𝐿_1=𝑉_𝑑𝑐/(8∗𝑓_𝑆𝑊∗〖∆𝑖〗_𝐿 )………… (1)

𝐿_2 is the function of the inverter side inductance and it’s give by;

𝐿_2=0.3𝐿_1…………(2)

Therefore, the total inductance is given by
𝐿_𝑇=𝐿_1+𝐿_2…………(3)

The link voltage Vdc is given by

𝑉_𝑑𝑐=(2√2)/(𝑚_𝑖∗〖√3∗𝑉〗_𝐿 )………… (4)
To calculate for grid side capacitance, 𝐶_𝑓

𝐶_𝑓=0.03∗𝐶_𝑏𝑎𝑠𝑒………… (5)

𝐶_𝑏𝑎𝑠𝑒=1/(𝜔_𝑛 𝑍_𝑏𝑎𝑠𝑒 )…………(6)

𝑍_𝑏𝑎𝑠𝑒=〖𝑉_𝐿𝐿〗^2/𝑃…………(7)

Parallel damping resistor is given by;

𝑅_𝑑=1/(3∗2𝜋∗𝑓_𝑟𝑒𝑠∗𝐶_𝑓 )…………(8)

The Resonance frequency is given by;
𝑓_𝑟𝑒𝑠=1/2𝜋 √((𝐿_1 〖+𝐿〗_2)/(𝐿_1 𝐿_2 𝐶_𝑓 ))
