Rare Pattern 76 black powder rifle.
Shooting a superb replica of the Pattern 76 rifle. A weapon developed by the Germans and then bought by the British, it featured a special captive rod system at the muzzle which swings the ram rod directly over the muzzle without the problem of fiddling around trying to centre the rod. A single ram and the weapon is ready. It fires a .62 caliber ball and can fire between 5 and 6 times per minute. Making it much faster than any of its competitors. Dropped by the British government after the Revolution as it was one of the many pieces of equipment that was blamed for the governments loss... which was of course nonsense.
