MacBook Air M1 - 4K video editing with fusion effects in DaVinci Resolve 17.1 | Dixon talks tech
Find out how well the new MacBook Air M1 (16GB RAM, 8 Core GPU) performs with 4K video editing and simple fusion effects in DaVinci Resolve 17.1. (Version 17.1 is a public beta optimised for the M1 chip).
UPDATE: I’ve recently started experiencing some artifact issues when rendering my projects. I’m not sure if this is due to the render settings or this version of DaVinci. I've since switched to Final Cut Pro X and it runs extremely well.
Please note: I perform this testing whilst connected to two external monitors each running at a resolution of 2560 x 1440.
