In this UmbraCollab edition we're taking a look at building property editors in the upcoming new backoffice of Umbraco, code named Bellissima. We start with an empty install of a Bellissima preview release and work our way from there. Starting with a simple property editor in JavaScript, moving to a slightly more advanced setup that uses a Razor Class Library (RCL). In the end we have a textbox, that saves our data. Along the way we get plenty of explanations of how everything fits together from Bellissima team lead Jacob Overgaard.
