❌ There are over 40 million people in global slavery right now.
❌ Over 80% of women + children trafficked are for the purpose of sexual exploitation
❌ Over 80% of males trafficked are for forced labour
❌ In Canada 93% of victims are Canadian
❌ The average age of entry into forced prostitution in Canada is 13 years old
❌ 55% of domestic victims in the USA met their trafficker and built a relationship by text, website, or apps.
❌Traffickers can make over $280,000 per year by selling a victim for the purpose of exploitation
We need to get loud on this issue.
