DBKL issues stop work order for J Satine condo in KL
A stop work order has been issued for the J Satine condominium under construction in Wangsa Maju following reports of an explosion on the site caused by structural issues.
In a statement, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) said it inspected the site and found cracks along the shear walls, pillars, and floors in units above the eighth floor of Block C.
It said it has also instructed the developer to carry out maintenance on the site to ensure it is clean and safe.
The developer is also required, to appoint an independent engineer to inspect the structural integrity of the entire development.
It is also required to present a report on the matter and carry out remedial works based on the independent engineer's recommendations.
