2017 GEELONG REVIVAL MOTORING FESTIVAL (THERE WAS A CRASH!!!)
Spending a day at the 2017 Geelong Revival Motoring Festival. The festival revives the excitement and spectacle of the Geelong sprints http://geelongrevival.com.au/wp
THE CRASH:
Whilst walking to the festival, I saw some competitor, driving a Black Audi RS7 that had set the fastest time of the day. However he missed the braking point and slammed through two safety barriers before being stopped by a third. Thankfully nobody was killed or seriously injured. The driver (with thanks to the helmet, protective gear and airbags) seemed to be okay but shaken. As I was right there just blogging, I got to record bits of the crash and can be seen from 0:50 to 3:00 of the video. It was so terrifying. Poor Audi 😢😢😢
