Hey Everyone!
Welcome back to Mauna Key, my detailed cities skylines series for 2021! In today's timelapse we will be further expanding our town of Kona by adding some more housing and a large industrial sector, complete with a cargo train station. I wanted to do this build to help beginners see how to detail a industrial station like this, I hope that you are able to take away some ideas for your builds! I also wanted to make some realistic looking factories to surround the cargo station. I utilized a couple modular factory packs to get some really unique looking industrial spaces, which I highly recommend finding a few in the workshop for yourself! Modular packs allow for a lot of creativity in your builds, and you can mix and match buildings to get something that fits your cities needs.
As stated we will also add in some more low density residential spaces to Kona. I used King Leno's Mitchell Heights Public Housing asset to create a public housing space for our city to continue the lower affluence theme of the small town.
