Hey Everyone!
Welcome to my new Cities Skylines series for 2021 Mauna Key! First off, big apologies to everyone who followed my previous series, it seems an issue with my mods/assets caused my game to have a critical meltdown and I had to wipe everything to get it up and running again. But in endings, we find new beginnings, specifically we find ourselves on a beautiful Island somewhere in the pacific, tasked with building a new city on this virgin soil. So lets get to it!
To start off our episode we will be doing some terraforming to give our island a volcano to match its namesake. Then we will build our first town, the quaint island town of Pearl Beach. Pearl beach is rather small population wise, but more than makes up for that in charm and natural beauty. Three gorgeous old style hotels dot her waterfront, and the public beach is one of the top rated in Mauna Key! Truly a great place to stop by and if you're so inclined, stay around for a summer.
My favorite aspect of this build was easily the lighthouse and the marina. I think we were really able to add a lot of detail in those two areas, and they really draw your eye to the city. And of course as I say in the episode, I think the public beach we made in this series is my favorite of all of my beach builds so far.
