Automated corona tests with robots and the item X series
Franka Emika GmbH from Munich has developed the world's first automated corona test station. With the use of a specially developed cobot, the tests can be carried out automatically and with a lower risk of infection, as direct human contact is not required.

The robotic arm "SR-NOCS" is located in an all-round enclosed cabin, for the frame construction of which the profiles from item's X series are used. The flushness of the profiles in particular makes it easier to disinfect the booths.
